Episcopal Kalendar

The Episcopal Church Kalendar is edited to conform to the Revised Common Lectionary, with the calendar dates in the proper color for each day.

On the back of each month's calendar sheet are printed the Lessons and Psalms for each Sunday and major feast day, along with suggested concluding collects for the Prayers of the People and liturgical notes. References to additional materials in the Lesser Feasts and Fasts and the Book of Occasional Services are also made to help the service planner take better advantage of the wealth of materials available in these important sources.

Under the calendar pad is found Tables of Feasts and Fasts, together with useful information about Lessons and Psalms.

Churchman's Ordo Kalendar

The Episcopal Churchman's Ordo Kalendar offers a traditional use of the Calendar of the Revised Common Lectionary and the recently published Anglican Service Book.

This calendar offers a full listing of the traditional feasts and devotional days which are frequently celebrated throughout the Anglican Communion. The calendar also deals with liturgical precedence, when to use the Gloria, Creed, Proper Prefaces and concluding collects for the Prayers of the People, and colors of vestments - indicated by the color of each day.

Also included are the Mass lectionary listings and liturgical notes for each principal day and season in the liturgical year. The Ordo Kalendar is useful in the home and in the sacristy as an aid to altar guilds, sacristans, Masters of Ceremony and Clergy.

Lutheran Calendar

The Lutheran Church Calendar provides an accurate and complete working of the calendars and lectionaries of Lutheran Book of Worship and Evangelical Lutheran Worship

The calendar also includes the Revised Common Lectionary as used in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.

The calendar utilizes the one-year Lectionary used by the vast majority of Lutheran congregations in North America.

Christian Year Guide Calendar

The Ashby Christian Year Calendar shows the main Holy Days of traditional Christianity and the outstanding days of interdenominational emphasis. It is designed to help those Churches who want to observe the orderly forms of The Christian Year, a heritage of all Churches.

The special days to be observed are based upon the Calendar suggested by the National Council of Churches of Christ in the U.S.A., except the Kingdomtide season, supplemented with generally accepted liturgical lessons and colors.

Catholic Calendar

The days and seasons of the Church Year are shown in appropriate liturgical colors. Each month's sheet shows solemnities, holy days, feasts, memorials and such days of special importance. Other significant information is included in this calendar.

Methodist Calendar

United Methodists are encouraged to follow the Calendar for the Christian Year, which was adopted as the official United Methodist liturgical calendar by the 1984 General Conference and published in The United Methodist Book of Worship (1985).

The Common Calendar consists of the Christmas Cycle and the Easter Cycle. Each cycle consists of a preparatory season (Advent and Lent), a festival season (Christmas and Easter), and an "ordinary time" of growth (Seasons after Epiphany and after Pentecost).

This official calendar reflects the common usage of Christians in North America but the General Conference did include a provision that gave United Methodists the option of referring to the Season after Pentecost as Kingdomtide.
